David Lynch Foundation Television premiered this video last week of a visit to the studio where The Smashing Pumpkins are currently recording their forthcoming mega-project Teargarden By Kaleidyscope.

The clip features an interview with frontman Billy Corgan on the songwriting creative process, a tasty snippet of a new song, as well as some footage of the auditions held for a new drummer following the tragic departure of behemoth-beat-meister Jimmy Chamberlin… Jimmy, we’ll miss you!… but all things aside, new drummer Mike Byrne seems to have Billy excited… and that can’t be a bad thing!
