    • What kind of music are you into?
I’m into wide range of music, from classical to heavy rock, from pop to older rock classics. I have thousands of mp3’s from a to z.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
Given a chance to load for free dowbload it would easily be several albums a day because I can listen and work at the same time.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
I am an administrator of more than 750 Nokias at the moment (at Evira) and they all keep asking all the time about different services available and ‘what can I do with my device’. As a mobile device expert I am already a heavy user of several services and as a Nokia enthusiast I would like to do some PR for Nokia services like CWM, too.

What kind of music are you into?

I hear radio every day like for 3 hours and for this reason I’m really passionate about every kind of music. At the moment I prefer Scouting for Girls, Mumford and Sons, John Mayer and Owl City but I’m always open to new stuff. I also hear spanish and german music. Juanes and Sportfreunde Stiller are sooo great! :)
In addition to that i like hearing choir music or classic music, for example The soundtrack of “Pirates in the Carribean”.
The thing is that I recently had to change my full hard drive to put more music on my computer.

How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

I think i can maximally download 4 albums every day. I know that you can download much more but you need to hear the album twice or thrice to get a connection and the “groove” of the album. Every artist has expressed something with an album and our duty is to show ackknowledgement and try to find the general meaning of the albumm If not you just download it for having it and you’ll either not hear it passionately or forget that you’ve download it.

Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?

I have bought a Nokia 5220 Xpress Music with a bluetooth headset one year ago and since then I’m hearing music every day. I hear when I go to the bus station even if it’s for one minute. I hear music before I go to bed. I sing in two school choirs and were quite professional (http://annettechoere.de/ or http://www.youtube.com/user/cmcbvve).
Music changes my mood. It’s there when I need it. Music’s just an integral part of my life and I could not live without it.
In addition to that I want to start social networking with my cell phone, a thing which will be important for my worldtrip, I’m planning, next year.
If I won a one-year free download pass, I would download music I do not really know, hardly known artists or music I normally do not like to get the “groove”, something I can not afford at the moment, because even music is expensive for me.
All this are the reasons for me to participate in this Boot Camp. :)

    • What kind of music are you into?

    Jazz, Alternative/Indie, World, Pop.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

How much? At an all you can eat music buffet I can eat about 150 music KG’s!! I’m gonna need a wheelchair after that lot!

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?

    For the MUSIC baby!!

  4.

    • What kind of music are you into?
Lots of different kinds. Modern classical (from the early 1900s onwards), alternative rock, soul, post-grunge, progressive rock, space rock, electronica, psychedelic pop, some techno, blue-eyed soul… You’ll find that most of my music library is modern classical, however. I try to listen to whatever everyone else isn’t listening to.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
However much this thing can download in that amount of time.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
Well, my Nokia 3110c is really a bit low on features, and I’m definitely a power user, I think it’s time for an upgrade. I love music, I have a decent sized library (350+ artists), and Nokia phones have fascinated me for a long time now.

  5.

    * Top 40s, 80s!, R&B … Groovy musix!

    * I can do hundreds per day till I fill up the hard disk!

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

I normaly listen up to around 6-8 hours of Music a day. Im comfident i could fill this device up to the brim in about 5-6 days. Lets face it without music life would be so dull.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?

Im a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music owner, sadlly i brought it before Comes with Music came to Finland, i missed out on soo much, I Love Music. Im willing to sitt, download and listen to it all day.

  7.

    • What kind of music are you into?
Pretty much everything! From hardtrance techno to jazz and lounge…

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
I really don’t know but i can say a LOT of it. listening to music about 4 hrs per day, and every time there is spare time on the bus, in the car, etc i always tend to put my headphones on, and unlike many i listen to music not too loud, just in the level that i enjoy it!

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
Because i think the idea is awesome and i wan’t to participate making the service so awesome everyone would use it! I bought my phone (3120) when Comes With Music wasn’t around here in Finland. so sad i would like to be able to just download the music straight to my mobile on the go, such a feeling a freedom! I think i would be great tester because i tend to use my mobile phone and its features from side to side and i always find things that could be done faster or better…

    cheers!

  9.

    • What kind of music are you into?
I listen to all kinds of music from all over the world. I have a large collection already and look to Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube for more tunes daily.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
If given the opportunity to download free tunes I would look for several albums daily, old and new music – just to get to listen to all the rest of the albums that some of the artists put out. So much work goes into them and so often we only hear singles.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
I am also a Nokia enthusiast and I Tweet and Facebook daily. I interact with a large and diverse group of people at work and at play, and love to travel and stay socially connected. I enjoy writing and have several years experience writing service reviews for products and personal services at various locations.

  10.

    • What kind of music are you into?
I have always been a devoted fan of Manadarin pop music from Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. Recently, along with the rest of Asia, I’ve caught on the K-pop wave, Korean pop music is very addictive. Which is weird because I used to be a J-pop fanatic, so I search for time-lost Japanese pop songs from 10 years back for nostalgic reasons.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
1440 songs is a modest estimate, that’s 2 songs per hour. Easy.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
CWM is an amazing idea, when I first heard about it it blew my mind. I got a N97 and took it for a spin. Brilliant idea, but execution was a mixed bag. I can look past the DRM and disconnections. But the most important thing, being able to get the music I enjoy anytime, anywhere was not so. Maybe it is the Japanese and Korean music I like, hard to find. But anybody who barely knows the Chinese music scene will know Jay Chou is the most popular artiste now and I couldn’t find him on CWM (Singapore). I left CWM, but I am still in love with the CWM ideal. Nobody else dreams like that (only Nokia can give Ovi Maps free forever). So I want to give it another try. C’mon CWM, I want you to be good!

  11.

    - What kind of music are you into?
Pretty much anything poppy, R&B, jazz. i listen to musicals, symphonic music, operas at times as well. and the music pretty much span different countries, not only English songs.
    - How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
Estimated i can listen to 40 new songs a day, that would work out to be 1200 songs in total :)
    - Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
I’ve never known Nokia through the world of music, so i would like to check things out. i’m currently using nokia E72 right now, and am impressed with the sound quality i’m getting there. So prove me wrong, Nokia!

  12.

    • What kind of music are you into?

I’m a (bad) guitarist so most things I listen to are guitar based. I like my guitar gods. I predominantly listen to rock and metal, but I stray into blues, country and jazz from time to time. If you can play air guitar to it, I’m a fan.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

Lots. 150 artists, 50 albums worth, maybe more. Downloading is easy, finding something new and interesting isn’t so easy however. That said, my last.fm suggestion list is pretty big, so I’ve plenty things I’d like to look for and try.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?

There’s numerous reasons I want to take part.

Firstly, I want to move into the mobile industry as a career in some form – I’m a geek at heart, I love mobiles and gadgets. Whether it’s writing about them, or app development, I love mobiles. I even started a mobile related blog, although I haven’t done as much with it as I’d planned to. This bootcamp is an opportunity for me to write about something mobile related and potentially develop contacts.

Secondly, I’m a Symbian apologetic. I think it’s the best mobile OS and I look for every chance to publicise it. But it’s not just technical merits that are important, the whole experience is what counts and I’m eager to try CWM and see how it adds to Symbian/Nokia ownership.

Thirdly, it can’t be denied that the prize is a reason to be interested. Shiny new X6 and a years worth of downloads is pretty good.

Fourthly, I am a big music fan. With 13,000+ scrobbles on last.fm, it’s clear that I like music and discovering new music. Others may be able to download more and listen to more (although some of it seems a bit far fetched) but I’m not interested in music for the numbers. I’m interested in it for the art.

  13.

    • What kind of music are you into?
I love all kinds of music ranging from Metal, Alternative to pop and big brass band swing music. Music is like electricity in my veins and I’m almost always plugged in :)

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
At the moment I probably listen to around 5 to ten new albums a day plus all my favorite artists. So in thirty days I can listen to a couple hundred albums easily.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
I work part time in the music industry with promotional companies and my partner is a DJ so it is very important that we both not only stay very up to date with is what happening in the music world but also that we have a reliable listening device to listen to the music so we can really hear what the music sounds like. Quality is very important in our world and Nokia has always produced excellent phones. Now I’m looking forward to putting my passion for music and my Nokia together so i can rock out but still hear those important calls when they come in :)

Oh and I also dropped my N90 in a bucket of paint and am using my Nokia from the late 90’s atm.

  14.

    Hey there
    • What kind of music are you into?

I’m into pretty much anything when it comes to music. from old school female vocalists such as Memphis Minnie, Ethal Waters and Billie Holiday to the new sounds of Alicia Keyes and Corinne Bailey Rae. Original Chicago house to Jamie T, Lovers Rock to Rihanna, Brazilian Bahia to Senegalese Mbalax. Basically I’m open to any music that sounds good. My collection is full of all sorts of sounds and with my 16Gb USB drive on my keyring I’m able to take any tunes from friends in seconds.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

How long is a piece of string? I’d start by looking for some of those tracks that I’ve had in the past and lost but always wanted to find again. The internet throws out all those ‘if you liked that you may like this’ recommendations which I’m always up for. I’ve found some real gems that way. So how much do I think I can download? I have no idea but I’d aim for 20 to 30 tracks a day depending on work load.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?

I’ve only ever had Nokia’s and have always been promoting them to friends and family. A few months ago I dropped my 6220 in a puddle. It was finished and after a few problems with my phone insurance they wanted to send me a SE W995 which had a higher megapixel count than my 6220. They had sent me a refurbished 6220 but there was a problem with one of the soft keys and I had to return it. They then sent out the same 6220 with the same problem telling me it was a different phone (it wasn’t as I had made note of the IMEI number) which was when they tried to send me the W995. I’d hoped they were going to send me the X6 but they said they couldn’t stretch to that so I insisted on waiting for another 6220 to come in. My main phone is an N86 and I’m happy with that. I use the headphones to listen to tunes and the radio and love the FM transmitter as my car doesn’t have any other way to connect my phone to it but the FM transmitter means I don’t need any other way. This feature alone astounds friends and family and convincew me to stick with Nokia. This Boot Camp brings together two of the most important things in my life (and I’m not exaggerating, my phone is like my third hand and half my brain) Nokia and music.
I check my Facebook account a few times a day and there are a couple of my good friends who post links all day long to old and new tracks and with a ‘Comes With Music’ sub I’ll be able to add even more to their conversations about music and post them using a cool new phone. I send photos to my Facebook account and update my profile more with my phone than with my PC anyway. I’d be interesting to see how good the Nokia touch screen interface is too.

    • What kind of music are you into?
I love all music of the 80s – from pop to rock, synth pop and Ska. The era really does it for me. The 80s vibe has returned with a bang over the last year with some present day artists recreating that 80s sound. Over than that Im pretty much connected with all other kinds of music. From Xfactor Pop to techno.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
As much as I can get my hands on. I review albums from the 1980s on my blog. Probably about 10-15 albums a day at a max i reckon. My Itunes account is always maxxed out!! (lol)

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’
I am a big fan of anything Nokia – currently owning the flagship N97. I USE TWITTER and FACEBOOK daily, interactIng with a friends, companies at work and at play. I just love being socially connected. I will use this to help in the project.

    United Kingdom

  16.

    • What kind of music are you into?

I listen to a lot of genres – I really like trashy pop music then I could sit and listen to Jason Mraz or Jack Johnson for hours. Lately my dad’s been helping me get into loads of older stuff from the 80s, and I’m liking it a lot so far.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

I could easily find new stuff to listen to every day, I could probably listen to about 2 or 3 an hour, every day, more in half term and the holidays.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’

I love finding new music and bands to listen to, and at the moment, I can’t download all of it, because I’m broke, and unlimited downloads would be an amazing opportunity. Also, I could help you get a teenage view on things, and I’m quite unhappy with my phone at the moment. I’d love to try the X6, and see if it’s as amazing as it sounds.

    • Tell us which country you’re applying for?

    UK please :)

  17.

    • What kind of music are you into?

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

I don’t really know but what i can say is that i listen to at least 4hours of music a day and dowland at least 10 songs a day . So that will be at least 300 songs a months and 120 hours a month.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’

I had my first phone ever when i was 10 year old and it was a Nokia so since then i all the phones that My family and i had were Nokia types because they are the best out there. The phone that i have now is Nokia 97 and i’m extremly happy with it since it have everything that i want from music to internet … But the exciting thing in it is the FM Transmitter that i love because i can share my music in every car without bothering to bring CDs with me each time i go out. and another reason is th prize which is Nokia X6 that i’m highly inticipated to have it because it seems like it will outstand all the other phones out there.

    • Tell us which country you’re applying for?

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
I reckon I could download and listen a lot. I’m forever naew artists that I love, so I just go all crazy in buying up all of their songs, regardless whether I have heard them or not, also I tend to have all my favourite artist’s songs in my library.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’
I don’t just want to, I would love to. I am extremely passionate about music, and so are all of my friends. A friend has recently mentioned about her phone, the Nokia 5800 being an amazing phone, and I have always envied her fast texting speed that she has with her phone, so I would love to see if I could reach her speed. I also like to browse the internet frequently on my phone, and I would like a new phone with a big screen to do this on, and bingo, here’s the X6.

I am applying from the UK, living in the South East.

    Thanks! :)

  20.

    Hi, I’m a 25 italian girl.

As soon as I read your post about the Nokia Comes With Music ‘Bootcamp’ I thought “it’s great, how could I let this opportunity escape?” So, here I am trying my best!:)

    1. What kind of music are you into?
I like to listen to a lot of different music genres, but Pop is surely my favourite: I love Elisa and her fantastic voice, and many other italian artists as Giorgia, Negramaro, Malika Ayane, etc.
Nevertheless also international singers and bands are often the background of my days, for example I love Beyoncè, U2, Mary J. Blidge, Green Day and more.
Not all kinds of music suits me: House or Metal generally doesn’t satisfy me, but anyway I’m always ready to experience new genres. An example? One day a friends of mine made me listen to a new song, it was the “Canon Rock” by Funtwo (a revisited version of Pachelbel`s Canon in D Major, performed on electric guitar): I was really surprised but by now it’s one of my favourite songs.
I usually listen to various genres of music depending on my mood: Dance music by Madonna when I feel like dancing, R&B by Alicia Keys when I want to relax, Rock music by Aerosmith when I feel energic and so on.

    2. How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
I can’t exactly quantify how much music I could download in 30 days: surely a lot!
More realistically I think around 200 songs: I don’t wanna give you a wrong estimate, preferring to stay on the safer side :) First, because I do have to combine my passion for music with my Law studies (being 25, studying and enjoying life surely gets you a busy schedule!). In second instance I need my own time to really enjoy music: at times I get flashed by a song as soon as I listen to the first beats, but many other times I fall in love with a song only after I heard it many times.
To sum it all: is there something nicer than laying on the grass with your headphones letting the music get straight to your mind?

3 Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’?
What a question? I want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’ because I’d like to have a Nokia X6!!:) Jokes apart, I do already have a Nokia device (the E65), but this would be a big improvement that I could never afford on my tight student budget! I’m really curious to try all the new features (especially the Facebook integration) that I read about in all the internet reviews, I even watched all the “unboxing” videos on youtube.
The “Nokia Comes With Music” service would be icing on the cake: downloading for free all the songs that I like or that intrigue me, that’s a dream come true! I could finally have with me all the hits I always listen to the radio when I’m driving, the songs from advertisings and OST, and of course the songs mentioned in my favourite blogs or suggested by my friends.
Finally, I think that every good travel has to be accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack: the summer is coming and I’d be truly very happy to renew my music library giving it “web 2.0 social spin” and sharing it with all my Facebook friends!

    • What kind of music are you into?

I love to listen to such different music, I really can’t tell you what typical sort of music I like. What i do know that I have a large collection of extended dance singles I love to collect. Mostly the 7 to 10 minutes ones.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?

I think in 30 days with a subscription it will be around 20 hours of music.
That’s a lot for me. I will mostly listen to it while I jog, or working on my MacBook. 20 hours of music is about 1200 minutes that is 72000 seconds ;-)

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’
Well i work on a Mac, I love it except for 1 thing, that is iTunes. It’s not working fine for me. For what i know the Ovi Music program is just what I need. No features I do not use, it’s fast and works with all kind of mobiles!! With Ovi Music and the Nokia X6 I want everyone to know how does to work on the Mac and I want everyone to know what kind of music I’m listening to. And after that I will un-install iTunes :-)

    • Tell us which country you’re applying for?

    I live in the Netherlands!

  23.

    • What kind of music are you into?
Mainly classic rock and pop, but also newer modern rock and pop. Certain ‘classic’ classical works are also in my ‘pipeline’.
The latest count on my computer was:
4957 album with 63740 songs by 4182 artists.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
If I really make an effort? At least a thousand songs or maybe two thousand, meaning 100-200 albums.

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’
Even though I have an extensive collection of music (as shown above), I still have not ‘replaced’ all albums and songs I have on Vinyl or recorded on cassette since I bought my first album in 1970..

What kind of music are you into?
I like pretty much any kind of music.
Most of my collection would be described as rock or heavy metal, but I’ve got all sorts of other stuff in there too: Dance, urban, cheesy pop, blues, blue grass, classical, and jazz.

How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
I think I can safely say I’ll put it to the test.
There are loads of bands that I’ve heard about and want to check out but haven’t because I didn’t want to spend money if I wasn’t certain to like.
Bootcamp would give me the perfect opportunity to get access to all that music.
I just hope that you’ve got them there for me!

Tell us why you want to take part in ‘Bootcamp’.

Why wouldn’t I want to be involved in Bootcamp?

I’m Jummi Hämäläinen from Finland. I’m into all sorts of music but if I had to choose one genre over all others it would have to be rock. The question about the downloading and listening to new music from Nokia depends solely on the service. I’d listen to as much music as I could and that should be enough :) It would be very interesting to take part in the boot camp to explore new music and new experiences. I think I could give some creative feedback on the service and be able to help you to make it even better.

    • What kind of music are you into?

The more appropriate question for me would be “what kind of music aren’t you into?”. Already today I’ve skipped from Black Sabbath to Luke Vibert, through an assortment of classic rare groove, a touch of Dubsteppy electronica and some Blue Note classics.

    • How much music do you think you can download and listen to in 30 days?
Hilarious Question. If I just continued to go from artist to artist, genre to genre, recommendation to recommendation I could keep it fresh almost everyday, all-day. maybe not weekends, but I would definitely look to soundtrack my working day. so, thats about 22 days, 8 hours a day which equals 176 hours a month. If most of it get’s an average of 2 listens, thats about 88 hours of music…

    • Tell us why you want to take part in the ‘Bootcamp’
Firstly to get a better understanding of What Comes With Music actually offers. I’m curious to know just how quickly new music is available on the network. secondly, as a curious mind I dig backward a fair deal, so having access to archives or back catalog music would be great. When someone says “You should check out Prefab Sprout” I’d love to know if Nokia can facilitate that.
Lastly, I was always a loyal Nokia user, but have drifted of late. I’d like to see where they are at in terms of the new generation of products.

All new services need to be tested to destruction, and with unlimited music downloads I think I might break it! I also use Spotify, and I’m intrigued as to whether comes with music has any of the lesser know bands I’m interested in.
